"Go hard or go home!"

There hasn't been a more inspiring issue of ELLE than in October edited my interns. For a person like me, who is trying to crash into the fashion industry and make something big out of life, this magazine is the biggest source of hope and encouragement. It has made me believe in myself more than everything else has before.  So I had a thought to share with you the wisdom I found in it.

"Work your socks off in your twenties, never miss an opportunity and don't ever say no. Then, in your thirties, be more strategic" - George Northwood

"There is never a right path. You cannot plan your career, you just have to do the best you can in the job that you are in" - Carrie Tyler

"Be confident, stop worrying, what others think and be brave. Everything works out in the end" - Lorraine Candy

"Don't wait for anyone else's permission, If you want to be writer, start writing, start sending ideas out - and you're a writer. You don't have to wait for someone else to say you are" - Alice Wignall

"If in any career situation, we can have just one tiny success, the bigger opportunities will always follow. We should be willing to seize every opportunity, no matter how small, and make the most of it" - Alexandra Murphy

"If you don't work hard then you can't play hard" - Stacy-Jayne Archer

"I got over being embarrassed about what I didn't know, and love that I still have so much to learn" - Amanda de Cadenet

"As long as you're alive, there's still time" - Amanda De Cadenet
